Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

Post by meghan on Sun Feb 26, 2017 11:45 pm

'Milk and Honey' is a poetry book written by a young woman named Rupi Kaur. The book is split into four sections: the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing. Each section deals with a different theme.

'Milk and Honey' was originally self-published by Kaur on Amazon, but it became so popular that a publishing company decided to pick it up and print it!

'Milk and Honey' deals with many themes such as loss, love, trauma, etc and some of the poems can be a little on the sensitive topic side for some, so be prepared for that if you decide to check it out!

If you enjoy poems found on Tumblr, you'll probably enjoy this book too. I know I did!

Here are a few examples of Rupi's poetry:

I've actually seen some of her work, prior to your article, and all of it is just amazing. Very Happy She's very good at putting emotions into actual words. Anyway, thank you for posting Meghan. Razz
